Synopsis: Prestigious lawyer, Juan Elias, wakes up after a car crash suffering from amnesia. He soon discovers that he’s the main suspect in the disappearance of his niece, Ana Saura, a twenty-five-year-old girl who was also a student of Elias’ at the university. The case will pit two powerful families against one another, dredging up secrets from the past they thought long forgotten.
ABOUT THE MUSIC: The score is an important part of this acclaimed TV series, bringing expectation, tension, and dramatic depth to the action. The music is a base of electronic sonorities mixed with some strings that provide more depth to the drama: dark textural sonorities, melodic themes that shape characters and situations, and pulsing elements in the background that underline the continuous tension that each chapter brings to the audience.
“The composer follows the codes of the thriller and television suspense genre, turning his creation around the main theme that knows many variations. This absolutely dominant theme is retentive and also obsessive, generating not only a sense of speed but especially anxiety, particularly when moderately bleak dramatic references are inserted into it. Its final version for the ending episode is epic” MundoBSO
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE: All the synths were programmed and played by Arnau Bataller. The strings were conducted by David Hernando, recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, and mixed by Marc Blanes at BSO Superestudio, Barcelona.
