Synopsis: A retired professor tries to track down the love of his youth after learning he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
ABOUT THE MUSIC: The music from Vivir dos Veces is a mix of intimate and vintage piano, solo violin, innocent guitars, soaring strings, and synths textures. These instruments play two main roles during the movie: on one hand, to accompany the dysfunctional family, bringing some subtle comic touches, and in the other to follow Emilio’s desire to find his youth love providing intimate and emotional sonorities.
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE: The piano and guitars were interpreted and mixed by Simon Smith at his studio in Barcelona. The synths were programmed by Arnau Bataller. The strings were recorded with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra
