Synopsis: Luisa Llorente, an expert on the taxation of old buildings, had recently gone to the Victorian mansion Valdemar to conduct an inventory of property ownership. After she mysteriously disappeared, Maximilian, president of her company, engaged the services of a private detective to help find her. But soon they will discover that it is not the first disappearance at Valdemar mansion!
ABOUT THE MUSIC: Big and epic, loud and sinister, the score for this gothic horror film features a huge orchestra and choir. Big orchestral melodies, menacing choirs, fantastic textures, and ominous sonorities create the sonic universe of this H.P Lovecraft based movie.
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE: The music was conducted by David Hernando, recorded with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, and mixed by Marc Blanes at BSO Superestudio, Barcelona. The orchestra had woodwinds a 3, 6 horns, 3 trumpets, 4 trombones and tuba, 3 percussionists, and 12-10-8-8-6 string section plus a 25 piece choir.
